I was overjoyed to celebrate the release of my MG novel in verse, RED, WHITE, AND WHOLE, this week! I started off on release day—Tuesday, February 2, 2021, signing a bunch of books at independent bookstore like Porter Square Books, Silver Unicorn Bookstore, and the Concord Bookshop!
That evening, I had a fantastic launch with Porter Square Books in which I talked with wonderful Kate Messner about inspiration, craft, and revision. If you weren’t able to attend, you can watch the replay below—including the question that made me break into tears! It was truly an incredible evening, and I’m so grateful to everyone who attended, especially my family and friends.
After the launch, we got together we some friends (via Zoom, of course) and had a fantastic BIG 80s party in which I rocked a side pony and we played a fantastic game of 80s trivia hosted by my son! I even won second place! My husband won first place, and I attribute this to his incredible video game skills.
And then, on Saturday, February 6, I had a fantastic launch event with Books of Wonder in NYC! I signed a bunch of books ahead of time, and had a wonderful event chatting with Laura from Books of Wonder, reading passages from RED, WHITE, AND WHOLE, and answering questions from the audience! You can check out the photos and recording below!
