I visited Chicago for two fantastic MIDSUMMER’S MAYHEM events! First, a panel at beautiful Anderson’s Bookshop Downers Grove with awesome fellow MG authors, Karla Manternach, Malayna Evans, and Niki Lenz and moderated by Kim Long! I got to catch up with high school and college friends as well as Pitch Wars classmate Reese Eschmann, whose MG debut is coming in 2021! The next day, I headed over to 57th Street Books, where I got to hang out with Reese and fellow Pitch Wars authors Layne Fargo and Mia Manansala!!

Laura Shovan, MG author from Maryland recommended your book for my blog reviews. Would you call it a mystery? The publicity is great so far.

It isn’t technically a mystery, but there are many mysterious things going on in MIDSUMMER’S MAYHEM! Thank you for your kind words!

I’m SO sad I missed you! I was looking forward to meeting you in person, but it turned out I was in LA for an SCBWI conference while you were here in Chicago. 🙁 But it sounds like the tour was wonderful, and I hope lots of kids got to hear about your book!

Oh, so glad I missed you, but being in LA must have been awesome! 🙂 I might be back in Chicago next month…
